Fun fact... not all ringworm will fluoresce actually so the woods lamp(black light) is not always accurate. Doesn't hurt to go to the dr/seek treatment due to the highly contagious nature of ringworm. Good luck! 😊

It does look like ringworm. Put some Lotrimin on it. Follow the instructions on the package and make sure you keep putting it on twice a day for a full six weeks. If you don't put it on for the full amount of time needed, it will come back. And yes, you can use Lotrimin for children. ￼

Look like it you by over the counter anti fungal cream

Looks like it.  Over the counter Antifungal creams can usually address but I am not sure about on kids.  I’ve had it as an adult and the creams work fine.  Just ask doc what is safe.  There might be a more effective prescription version too.
