Losing an Ovary- Endometriosis

So, I have been actively TTC baby #1 since May with no luck. Long story short, my OB wanted to start me on Letrozole but wanted to do an ultrasound before starting it. A large mass, an endometria, was found on my left ovary due to endometriosis. I have to have surgery to remove the cyst along with my left ovary and fallopian tube.

I’m wondering about other people’s experience with losing an ovary and being diagnosed with endometriosis and how their TTC journey went after? We’re you able to conceive? Did it take awhile?

I’m going into a spiral after finding out about all of this today. It really makes me worry if I’ll ever become a mom.
