I’m going to make this quick.

Once we found out we’re having a boy, my husband had this “baseball plan” in his head for him. First toy? A baseball and toy bad, baseball classes as soon as he learns how to walk. Baseball themed birthday party. I always ask him like he’s serious, and he says, “ yeah, Richard Williams had a tennis plan for his daughters before they were born and baseball players makes tons of money !” I’m like… I want our son to be exposed to tons of things and develop interests in his own. Not for us to force anything on him, but to try out other sports, even the arts like music or instruments…

Anyways, he’s turning 1 in July and I am lightly thinking of themes. My husband wants a baseball theme and doesn’t want to think too much of anything else. I was thinking of our sons interests to far: fruits, pictures ( paintings, framed portraits and the flash from camera phones) , and colorful toys/lights.

What would you guys do ?
