My son is 17 months old and walks great but when we’re in stores or crowded places he doesn’t want to be held, put in the cart or stroller and doesn’t hold my hand. It’s hard to take him out and I’m constantly sprinting after him. I’m just wondering what everyone’s thoughts on the toddler backpacks with the wrist straps? I always let him run when we’re somewhere he can freely and safely explore but crowded stores and events are nightmares trying to wrangle him and keep him safe.
