egg retrieval after methotrexate?

Has anyone done an egg retrieval shortly after resolving an ectopic/PUL using methotrexate? 
My doctors don’t know if it would negatively impact egg quality and count (and I already have low AMH), so I’m torn between going straight into egg retrieval versus waiting a few months to build up vitamins and folate again/ risking my dropping AMH.

After a MTX injection you should not try to conceive for at least 3 months, any good provider would tell you that. I’d be questioning if your provider if after your money or really knows what they’re doing. The MTX in your system could harm any growing fetus until it’s completely out of your system.

Ughhhhh.  I’m so sorry.  If I were in your shoes, I wouldn’t want to hear my own advice, which would be to wait.  Maybe 2 cycles at minimum?   What are your doctors saying your options are at this point?  It’s a messed up place to be in. Needing IVF in the first place is stinky enough.  Adding MTX treatment compounds it.   I had 2 rounds of MTX in November then conceived the end of January and my baby was perfectly healthy in utero and out.  I’m not saying my outcome is the end all be all, but just sharing my experience.   I did not go through IVF for that one though either💛

I'm surprised the dr doesn't tell you what to do! I'd definitely want some time after MTX but would hope they would give me more specific advice

When I had methotrexate they told me to wait 3 months 😔. Good luck I hope it all works out for you.
