Financial abuse?

So my partner is a travel RN. He makes 2500 a week, about 10k a month. He works 3 shifts weekly. Granted I understand the cost of living these days but trust me when I say we live comfortably. Very. Like almost crazy. He is so anal of money and always has been but not to this extent. He’s so stingy on spending a penny. Seriously!

I’m a stay at home mom HIS request because we have a 3 year old who has severe behavioral issues got kicked out of his daycare he was in, I could barely work I had to be the one to call in all the time. So I feel so trapped and depended on his money all the time I hate it. Our older children are in school most of the days but I still have to take on the house, cleaning cooking laundry appointments my daughters gymnastics class my sons karate class, dealing with a toddler that’s rough to even get through the day with. I’m struggling personally I hate depending on him. They haven’t got new clothes in forever, the last time they all did was two years ago. He gave me an amount and didn’t care just said to get what they all needed and everything was fine. He’s been refusing to spend the money for new ones so I had to go thrift shopping a few times to get like winter clothing etc.

Finally I said enough is enough these children need clothes that fit and he has made me go through every single piece of clothing from socks, underwear shirts pants bedtime clothes everything for all 3 kids it took 4 hours. He counted each one and made a note on his phone. Mg daughter has like 6 shirts that fit. My son has like 15 that fit but it’s like worn out looking shirts, my toddler has like 20 but again it’s all worn out. He said they don’t need new one it saves money since they have enough but it’s like ????? I told him this is weird and not normal, just give an amount you see fit instead of go through all of this and he started fighting with me saying all I do is see him as a money bag, I’m not appreciative all of this. The man is making good money enough for clothing for children. Is this financial abuse?!
