Positive misoprostol story

I was searching for positive stories when I had a blighted ovum and was going down the medicated miscarriage route and I couldn’t find many. I was filled with so much anxiety and I know lots of people do have a horrible experience, but I wanted to share my story. I had the tablets inserted at the hospital and within about an hour I started heavy bleeding. The bleeding lasted about an hour and then almost stopped and went back the brown spotting. The hospital wanted me to bleed more as they were concerned I hadn’t bled enough to pass things. They inserted more tablets 2 days later and nothing happened. I just continued to have brown spotting. I had a scan and I had successfully passed the sac. I continued to brown spot for about 2 and a half weeks. I then had a negative pregnancy test 3 weeks after having the medication. I ovulated about 2 weeks after my negative test and then my period arrived 2 weeks later. I hope my story can ease someone’s anxiety and know that you don’t have to have crazy heavy bleeding for weeks for things to be ok. 🥰
