wait 1 or two cycles after natural MC @ 5 weeks?

Anyone have similar situation? How long are you waiting?

My doctor said that as soon as the bleeding had completely stopped we were OK to carry on ttc and that most doctors tell you to wait until your next cycle so that if you do get pregnant they have a date to go off (apparently).

Hello! I lost my baby at 8 weeks in October. I miscarried naturally. We went to our doc for consultation and he said it was better to wait for a cycle or two and try again because we need time to heal physically and emotionally. I decided to get HSG done as I wanted to know if I have issues like septum, polyps, tubal blocks. I just got it done today. We are gonna try from January. The waiting time did help me to become stable and normal, emotionally. I needed this break from TTC. Of course everyone has different preferences. But I would suggest everyone to take this break and spend sometime to emotionally stabilize yourself...

I miscarried at 5w5d on dec 9th...doctor told us since we did not need a d&c that we could try right away if we were ready.  Good luck to you!

I have an appointment with my ob tomorrow. We miscarried on Christmas. I was 5w4d, though I think it may have started a few days earlier. I stopped bleeding today, and We would like to try again immediately. We will definitely discuss the risks with her tomorrow, but I feel like I am okay and ready.

I miscarried at 5 weeks on Dec. 11th. Since I miscarried everything naturally and my levels returned to normal after 5 days, my doctor said we could start trying again right away. I ovulated thankfully this cycle because I track my bbt and it rose after ovulation! Right now we're in our TWW. My AF is due on 1/11 but that may be off by a day or two with my body trying to adjust after the miscarriage. We're really hoping we get our rainbow baby though! It's so heartbreaking to have a miscarriage, but we're all strong ladies, and we will get through this. Now our angle babies are watching over us. Baby dust to all of you!💕

I had a miscarriage on 20th Nov at just under 5 weeks. We started trying after I stopped bleeding but unfortunately I got my period on boxing day :''-(. I think if your mc was early there's no need to wait unless there is a medical reason not to or your dr has suggested otherwise. I'm sorry for your loss and best of luck to you xx
