It is not okay to yell and swear at children. Period.I don’t know what you mean by “losing it,” but I suggest you talk to someone about that. It doesn’t sound healthy for the child. Of course we all have tempers and even the best of parents become impatient and frustrated. Raising your voice every now and then is one thing, but yelling and swearing at them sounds concerning.

Gentle parents cuss some times. Gentle parents yell sometimes. Apologize for the bad parts, lead with love, and just do your best.

Idk don’t quote me on this but that literally sounds like the opposite of gentle parenting to me lol. Sounds more verbal abusive to me. Regardless, swearing at children isn’t okay period. Kids don’t understand things like adults do and I understand loosing your cool but cussing at them isn’t going to make the situation better.

It's never ok to yell or swear at kids. AT ALL.I am far more traumatized from the insults and swearing and yelling that happened to me as a child, than any spanking I ever received. I would rather give a couple swats on the seat than scream or swear at my babies. That's unthinkable!
