Ok so my best friend had her baby shower this weekend. Her sister was there too with her baby. I’ve known my best friend since 1st grade so I’ve known her sister forever too

Anyway the sister was sitting there with the baby. I just got there, and I haven’t met the baby yet so I ran over all loud and shit like omg I need to see the baby, and I’m like omg I’m so excited to meet him and I am looking at his cute little face and I realize that she is breastfeeding him! I was like omg I’m so sorry I’m like bothering you guys right now and she was like no it’s fine like she didn’t seem annoyed and the baby was unbothered too. But still like she probably was annoyed atleast a little

I told my friend I was like I’m so sorry your sister probably thinks I’m so obnoxious and she was like no it’s no big deal like no one was bothered.

I still feel weird but I know in a few days I’ll probably be over it lol. Has anyone been in this position? Like you’re quietly feeding your baby and someone just comes rushing over annoyingly? I feel like an overstepping family member 😂

Thanks guys for the reassurance 😰I was unable to breastfeed but I remember when my son was that little, when I was feeding him he would always fall asleep during his bottles and I would get mad if people woke him or disturbed him at that time that’s why I felt weird. I have a habit of over analyzing everything for days lol but I’m sure by next weekend I won’t even be thinking about it
