Hey guys, my due date is 02/28 and I had my GBS test and cervix checked today at 35+2. My doc put her fingers in for literally 2 seconds to check dilation and it wasn’t painful, just pressure mostly. She said I’m dilated 1 cm and buy her glove was covered in bloody cm after. She told me labor may be starting since I have Braxton hicks regularly just to keep an eye on things. Was her checking my cervix for 2 seconds enough to cause all that blood or is it likely the blood was already there? I’m still bleeding a bit and losing some brown mucus pieces after 6 hours at home. Having irregular “contractions” some painful, some not. Thoughts?
