4moms mamaroo?

Question

Does anyone have one of these or is anyone planning on getting one ???
I really really want one because of the motions it has seems so calming for the baby and I like that we can control it from another room. My husband on the other hand thinks if we get this or a swing period it makes us lazy because we should be able to rock our baby but with me going to school and wanting to study one day or something I think it would come in handy? Any advice?  Nothing negative

Everyone I know of that got one barely ever used them :/ make sure you have a rock n play first, that's the best must-have product!

I was given one by a friend who had used it and their baby loved it! I also saw that buy buy baby had them in there sale section for like half off their floor models just so you know!

I am sorry but I have to say this!!!! It's not lazy. You will never sleep or have a peace of mind if you plan on rocking the baby yourself. Just being realistic. This is coming from a mother of two and I am expecting my third. I had a swing that was also a cradle and both of my sons were able to use that I gave it away for free to someone in need so I need to get something else. After seeing the mamaroo I am going to buy one of them. The motions that it makes and how you can control it from another room is what intrigued me! I know someone who has one and she said it is worth every single penny- she loves it!

I have one for my son. He's 12 days old and so far he hates it. He prefers the fisher price rock n play.  I have heard babies may like it once they're a little older so if you buy one and baby doesn't like it at first, keep it a while. They may like it better later.

I've had my mamaroo already sent out twice for repair under the one year manufacturers warranty. It's supposed to hold up to 25 lbs but I wouldn't go by that. My baby was 4 months old, and 14 lbs when i heard a large crack and it started to make a loud grinding noise. Sent it out the first time for repair, now after a few months it squeaks again when on. I would look into reviews about this product as a lot of other ppl have had the same issue as me. 4moms is usually good with repair parts as long as your in the 1 year warranty time frame, but nonetheless with a product this pricey, I just expect better quality.

We just got ours. I'm still pregnant,  but we set it up real quick and played with it. It's so easy to put together and take back apart. I love that you can control it from your phone. The motions are wonderful. It doesn't make a lot of noise like other people claim.  
Cons: Speakers could be louder, wish weight limit went a bit over 25 lbs.

So far we love it. We also got the 4moms bathtub.

I've had plenty of friends who swear by it and friends who said their baby didn't like it. So it's all dependent on your baby.  Be sure to get an infant insert.  I plan on getting that and a mamaroo and a rockaroo.  They work differently. But I'm a ftm just going off of my friends experiences and my personal judgement.  That's kind of all you can do.  I do plan to keep receipts incase they don't work for our baby.

My baby girl and all my friends with babies say 3-4 months is when babies start to really enjoy them. We got one of these as a shower gift and I tried it out when our baby was young but she just wasn't interested in it. We bought a swing at 3 weeks and she loved it. We only use the swing now and it's a shame that the mamaroo doesn't get used honestly.
