Not sure where to post this. But Wednesday I had to go to L&D because I wasn’t sure if I peed myself or if my water broke and my OB told me to go in and get checked. Not only did the L&D nurse try to force the test swab in my urethra until I finally screamed at her that it wasn’t my vagina, but she also had acrylic nails on. She yelled at me that it was my fault she couldn’t find my vagina, because I was “too tense”. Which I don’t know what she expects when she just kept trying to ram this swab in. I ended up getting her to let me insert the swab myself. Then my first cervical check, I don’t know if she didn’t know what she was looking for or what, but she shoved her fingers in, did what felt like bicycle kicks for several minutes, before finally pulling them out and saying that I was closed. Then for my second one, I literally felt her nail slice my vaginal wall and I bled up until Friday night from her scratching me. I’ve been so excited about having this baby, and honestly just experiencing labor and delivery up until now. Now I’m just terrified of what’s going to happen when I go in to deliver.
