Found a hickey on my bf

my bf and I have been together for 5 years

yesterday I found a red mark on his neck and I looked at it for a second to make sure I wasn’t crazy and I go “what’s that? why is there a red mark on your neck? It looks like a hickey” he said “why would I have a hickey?” and I said do you need me to a take a picture so you can see it for yourself and he said “no” he looked in the mirror and he was like “I see it, but sometimes my neck gets red from when I get my haircut and it gets itchy” and in my head in like hell no. Then I said “you better not be out here doing stuff” and then he got offended and said “why would you even assume that I’m doing sh*t” And I’m like well there’s something on your neck that looks exactly like a hickey and he goes” well it’s not one”

like I know I’m not crazy? does your bf randomly get red bruises around his haircut time? Wtf??

I want to trust him because he was never been unloyal but I’m just in disbelief right now. I wish I took a picture of it to show y’all. I’m am actually pissed the F*** Off, if he’s really out here cheating he should leave. he shouldn’t have been offended cause I’m “assuming stuff” I seen it with my own eyes.
