Is it just me or are the months you have unprotected sex in your fertile window the months you notice and feel the most symptoms in your TWW?

In my case we were trying to conceive a few months ago and the month i thought it might work was the month i had cramps and nausea and sore boobs. AF came 2 days late. Next few cycles we took a break as I was treating an infection. No symptoms just AF came a day early each month. No other PMS symptoms. Cut to this cycle. We really thought this month was ours. Unprotected sex multiple times in the fertile window. I had all the possible symptoms - sore and heavy boobs, nauseous feeling, fatigue, hunger and cravings. 2 days late but looks like AF is here today at 16DPO (awaiting the actual heavy flow to start) . Test came back negative from two days ago.

Does this happen to anyone else ? So freaky.
