How many pacifiers?

I want to try to breastfeed but I also want pacifiers just in case. How many is a good number to have?

I got l a few brands and was gifted a few at my shower. Our registry gift bag had 2 different brands and we got 2 more from the hospital. Once we found the ones baby liked, we got maybe 5-10?  They often come in multipacks and they’re like $5 or less. They go missing so much and it was easier just to leave them around different areas. We’d leave one in the car, diaper bag, our room, the changing table, kitchen etc.

You'll only need a couple, especially as you should wait until your supply has regulated - and you'll need to see which ones- if any- your baby will tolerate. You need to make sure you aren't masking hunger cues in the early days

With my oldest we tried every pacifier know to man. Spat them all out like they were poisonous. 
My youngest took MAM and bibs without any problems, so we continued with bibs.

Det e just had two. Bought two more when I knew she would take the kind I bought. Have just one kind or get samples if you can. It's hard to say what kind of pacifier baby will take 😊

I agree with waiting until you know what baby likes. Then we always had at least 4, and even more when older... my daughter only took mam
