Does it matter how long you hold your urine before a test?

Does it matter how long you hold your urine before a pregnancy test? I am about to be at 5 hours (it’s 5AM, I woke up at midnight to go pee), and I could totally wait a little longer but I’m SO anxious to go and see.

I say 4 hrs is fine. During the time you hold your pee don't drink many fluids. I am sure you know this. 😅 I definitely say that 5hrs is sufficient although the longer you wait the better ofc. I always use my FMU but if you need to use SMU then that's the way to go.

With my son I held got 2 hours in the evening of 11 dpo and got a clear positive. I think 2-3 hours would be fine unless your super early like 7-9dpo
