Is it bad that I want to be spoiled?

For the past few months I have been paying for everything when my bf and I go out. We both have jobs, he just works about 10-15 hours a week while I work 30+ hours (we are both full time students). I think it's because Valentine's day is coming up but I want to be spoiled a little bit. I don't remember the last time he got me something or paid for something while we've been out. I'm usually not a materialistic person or anything like that and it doesn't have to be expensive at all. So is it wrong that I want to be spoiled?

I have an old fashioned mindset and while I’m no stranger to hard work as well as having my own money, and I have zero issues paying for something… i don’t buy into all this woman power stuff that sometimes seem to honestly leave women at a disadvantage. The woman is “superwoman” and does everything while the man is a lazy bum and never takes charge of anything, never pays for anything, etc because us women can “do it all!” It’s utter nonsense. Nobody can “do it all”. Men and women must operate as a complimentary force and team in order to succeed together through life. 
I full stop want to be taken care of. I want to feel safe, protected, and provided for emotionally as well as physically. I want my man strong, responsible, and capable. 
I would definitely have an issue with this. You’re doing everything, he’s doing nothing, and he’s getting way more out of this relationship than you are I’d wager. He’s really not bringing anything to the table as far as I can tell. 
And it’s not bad to want him to put in some effort, to show you how much you mean to him! It’s not bad at all. ❤️ just tell him how you feel honestly. Tell him you want to be pampered a little bit and want him to be more actively involved in planning dates, paying for things, etc. ❤️

Not bad at all ! It's a natural human desire and it's what helps keep interest in the relationship. If it only goes one way someone will eventually start wondering if they are even important to their bf/gf or if they are just being taken for granted or even taken advantage of. Ask yourself if you feel taken for granted or ignored, unimportant to him or if you feel he's taking advantage of you. Then tell him how you feel. There's absolutely no shame in feeling like you want to be pampered and taken care of and loved.
