Heating pad and a body massaging gun works for me, I have small ducts and I’m clogged every single day, those little vibrating massagers don’t work for me but the massaging gun works wonders, sounds crazy and painful but it actually doesn’t hurt.

My lactation consultant said to ice after every feed for about 15 minutes. Don’t massage hard, just let the inflammation go down with the ice!

Sometimes you can see the milk bleb like a little blister and you can prick it open with a needle. If it hurts more than a few days or you start to get chills or a fever, call your dr because it’s way easier to just get meds (which allows you to keep nursing) to handle mastitis. 9 months into my third EBF baby and I just had my first mastitis experience.
