Cervical checks at anatomy scan?
UPDATE: I got the call from my OB today, with a shortened cervix and an appointment with my mfm on Thursday. 🥲
So my anatomy scan was at 21 weeks (today)
And half way through my tech asked me to pee in order to see baby better. She was gone for a bit, and came back with a transvaginal probe. And then asked to check my cervix closer. She said it was normal practice, but I had never had that offered at either of my other anatomy scans previously. She was super quiet, and then finished the scan and told me she would see me back in 6 weeks for another ultrasound. I’m trying not to worry, but it just doesn’t feel normal. Has this been the normal for everyone else? It didn’t feel like a routine check since I wasn’t informed until towards the end of my scan.
