What signs did you have if you have suffered from an ectopic pregnancy?

I've never had one but my best friend did. She had unbearable pain in her side. Later she found the embryo implanted in her tubes. I'll also add she had a tubaligation reversal 2 months prior. They were able to give her a medication that "dissolved" the embryo and her tube was saved. She was able to get pregnant her next cycle and now has a healthy 6 month old son.

My husband forced me to the ER after a full day of horrible pain in my back and what I thought was my right kidney. The wait was so long, I almost left after 4 hours.....good thing he made me stay. They sent me to the OR pretty much as soon as they called me back.

I had heavy bleeding from before my bfp, spotting thereafter. Then my hcg was all over the place. No real pain (thankfully), but mine was caught early.

Every ectopic presents differently. For me, I had some pain but nothing significant. First clue something was wrong was when I started having period like bleeding. I thought it was a miscarriage but then it slowed to spotting. My HCG levels were going up but not doubling as they should. Finally, when my levels were high enough to see something on ultrasound, there was nothing in my uterus and a build up of fluid near the left tube. Thankfully it was caught early and I was treated with 2 rounds of methotrexate. The pain came 2 months later when the growth which was still lodged in my tube started breaking down. Luckily, it dissolved. If you even think something feels off, call your Doc. Hoping everything turns out perfectly
