Nexplanon - scar tissue?

hello everyone.

i just got the nexplanon like 4 days ago. i haven’t had any real issues other than like bruising and stuff. and unfortunately i had a reaction to the bandaids i was using.

my question is this: i was feeling it earlier. i can feel the rod and along the whole thing it’s kinda bumpy. i’m assuming it’s scar tissue. however, there is one spot that isn’t bumpy. it’s a very small spot in relation to the rest of the length of the implant. does that mean it’s like broken or something? would i know if it was broken and if so how?

any advice would be helpful thank you!
