What could this be?

Does anyone know what this can be? It’s been on my 1 year old scalp for awhile. Not sure exactly how long I’ve noticed it more since she’s turned one. Could this be a dermoid cyst?

I’m 24 and I have one of those on the side of my skull above my temple. I discovered it a few years ago. 
It never gave me any problems and I never got it checked. I definitely should have though, and so should you JUST TO BE SURE.
