Low dose aspirin and covid
Hi,
So, I just came down with Covid and I’m feeling pretty crappy. The first two days were the worst now I’m feeling better.
I’m 21 weeks and my midwife recommended taking low dose baby aspirin until 36 weeks. I’m super apprehensive of taking medicine for the next 15 weeks. I do don’t even take Tylenol for the headaches I get. My midwife cited they worry about placental perfusion and growth with blood clots and that they have seen women have postpartum complications such as high blood pressure and hemorrhages. They also say they’ve seen many placentas with damage of those who had Covid in early pregnancy but also have seen many women not take aspirin and have healthy babies and postpartum experiences.
Has anyone else had Covid around this time of pregnancy? I just don’t know what the right choice is. I did email a naturopath I see to see if there are any natural supplements to take.
