Mucus plug?

So this morning around 5 started getting contractions, every 5 minutes or do for 2 hours. So we went to the hospital. Was checked ins no has my cervix checked still at a 1 same as yesterday at my appointment. Said they'd wait an hour to see if I progressed. After the hour I was still 1cm so they sent me home and told me to come back at my scheduled induction 5:30 tonight. Been having contractions all day now and just went to the bathroom and had a jelly like blob on the tissue. No blood or anything in it. Could this be my mucus plug?? I'm 41 weeks today.
