First date after a divorce

This is my first date after an abusive marriage, I was with him 6 years and he was my first for everything , I have a child and been single about 2 years and now interested in dating. He is someone I knew in college 8 years ago and he’s been single since 2017, he has no kids, a teacher& baseball coach .. I haven’t done this dating thing in a long time lol i feel silly asking this but Do you ask about marriage and kids on the first date ?? We are long distance and both busy people so our first time seeing each other in years, i’m open to date and have fun but i do desire marriage again some day with the right one. & Definitely not interested in bringing anyone around my child but im probably thinking too much ahead
