Any fellow Attorney Mamas here?!
I just graduated in May and passed the CA bar. Got my results end of Nov. I've been working as legal counsel to my husbands start up, but of course no pay yet as I will be getting equity. I'm looking for something to do on the side during my pregnancy (I'm due 4/28) and possibly even after baby girl is born. Hubby says it's ok if I stay home but obviously I have student loans to pay and I would like to explore my options.
I have a background and experience in business law - worked in house and also did contracts for 2 years prior to law school. Did a lot of work and classes in IP (licensing, Internet law) and now becoming expert in the payments industry and property management industry.
Can anyone recommend a good resource or option for working part time or working from home? I can't do those sites like legal zoom or rocket lawyer as I don't have enough experience yet. Would like to hear how everyone is managing work and benign a mommy. Thank you!
