I’ve had the nexplanon since November 2020 and for a year I occasionally had some really light bleeding for a few days but that was only once every 4 months or so. I did not have any bleeding from September 2021 until new years 2022 when I started bleeding in what resembled a proper period I would have pre contraception, and as of today I have started a period again. I’m not due a nexplanon replacement until November. I was just wondering if anyone had experienced anything similar? Is it a possibility that my nexplanon has expired early or could it be that my body has fully acclimated to the consistent hormones and can function as normal?

I was on the mini pill for around a year and a half before switching to nexplanon where I experienced some light irregular bleeding also.
