Miscarriage at 5 weeks

Hi guys, for whoever has had a miscarriage i have a few questions.

When you miscarried, do you get a follow up ultra sound?? When I was in the er my dr said my count was 64 so if we do a ultra sound, nothing will show regardless.

They did one, all I was told was my cervix is closed….

Then he said whatever was there is gone and that I’m miscarrying.

I did have a negative test, but my levels were still above 5 so idk why I had that.

But anyways, I just would like to know what happened during yours. There’s always some hope i guess that it was just bleeding. Even tho I know it wasnt.
