Scheduled C section?

Question

If you 100000% knew this was your last baby and you have a history of gestational diabetes and needing to be induced, would you opt for a scheduled C section and to have your tubes tied?
I know I want my tubes tied, I just am not sure if I want to be induced, have a vaginal birth, then get my tubes tied. Or just have them take care of everything and schedule it?
What’s the healing process like for just having your tubes tied post vaginal birth vs. A C section?

So I dont have GD, but from a this is my 2nd im done now standpoint. Schedule the c.section. I know 10000% I am done so I scheduled a c section due to complications I had delivering my 1st. During this they are going to take out my tubes. The way I see it. Why be sore both vaginally and abdominally?  They can take the baby out in the same incision as the tubal.

Having delivered both ways, I wouldn’t have a c-section by choice if someone paid me to do it. The healing is horrific. I didn’t have any infections or anything like that, but the feeling of my body ripping apart from the inside out every time I flinched, sneezed, coughed, or said anything is enough to make me fight like hell to deliver this current pregnancy vaginally. Just my opinion. ❤️

I haven’t had gd or a c section, but honestly I’d probably pick a scheduled c section if I were you. It just makes more sense to only have to recover one time instead of recovering from birth and then having to recover later on from getting your tubes tied.
