Daughter has diaper rash 😩

She’s 18 months & this is the first time it’s been super red. I put diaper rash cream on it… hopefully it goes away soon what’s other remedies I can help get rid of it 😭😭

Butt Paste is best but FYI if it looks inflammed with little red dots, thats usually yeast and she needs an antifungal vs diaper rash cream.

I’d recomend not wiping it AT ALL! Do a mild rinse off each diaper change, let baby play to soak for a second, avoid soap with fragrance or it’ll burn and then a very light coat of this so it’ll turn powder like.

Use medicated diaper cream and aquaphor or Vaseline on top. I like to use breastmilk in the bath water before bed. Make sure to change diapers often and consider sizing up overnight. If it doesn’t go away or look better in a couple days, it could be yeast and you’d want to talk to your pediatrician about an antifungal cream.

I’ve tried like all the main diaper cream after having 3 babies ( pregnant with 4th) this one is my favorite and works so fast compared to any other products I’ve tried. If you need something you might already have at home then aloe Vera, fresh breast milk(if available), or Vaseline or witch hazel. You can apply any of these but if you can get the calmoseptine I’d recommend that for a quicker turn around.

Do not use wipes on it, wet washcloth or paper towel only, let it dry out completely then lots of rash cream and change diaper often
