When to share the news?!

Okay so I cracked and told my bestfriend I was pregnant & asked her to be the baby’s godmother. She accepted of course and brought me flowers this morning. 🥹 
We haven’t told anyone else yet. I want to do something cute for my mom. 
When do y’all plan on telling your families?

I tell my family right away if something were to happen I would love to have my mom there for support and hugs

I normally wait until 8 weeks- get your ultrasound then start telling family and close friends. Then tell the world at 12 weeks. 
I have already told my close coworkers and a friend. Haha

With my first I told my mom right away and the rest of my family soon afterwards. This time I’m waiting until at least the 8 week appointment to tell anyone - mainly because I want to wait until after our big family get together at Easter for people to know. And I feel like last time the wait killed my mom so less time for her waiting is good hahah

I told my best friend, and my mom a few days after my husband and I found out.  I don’t want to tell my coworkers or siblings yet until we know the baby is healthy and we’re at 12 weeks or so.  Feels like forever and we’re so nervous after a miscarriage last year.

I told my family immediately with my first. With this one, I want to wait to confirm my EDD and do a cute announcement for my mom whose gonna completely freak out. Lol 
My mom & I are extremely close, so it’s gonna be hard not telling her these next couple of weeks. I just dropped her off at the airport to be out of town for the next 10 days so that definitely helps hahahaha. 
My 5 year old daughter is also already picking up on mommy being more tired these last few days and she’s mentioned me feeling “too hot”. 😂😂
For now, I’m enjoying this sweet little secret with my hubby and bestie.
