My son is going to be turning one next week! I’ve noticed some stuff or lack there of in my son. It’s been about a month I would say since I last heard him say mama or papa. He’s in love with mrs. Rachel and I’ll sit with him and mimic with his hands clapping, waving and such but he hasn’t picked up on it. I’ll say clap or bravo in Spanish but he won’t do it even if I do it too he won’t mimic me. We’ve tried Spanish version of mrs Rachel but he isn’t interested. I don’t expect him to be able to form sentences but idk if I should be a bit worried about not being able to do those things. He’s also been waking “assisted” since maybe 9-10 months. He went from grabbing both our hands to only our fingers. He at times will just grab on to my shirt but then I let go and he’ll just sit down. I’ve tried every trick in the book. The lemons, carrots, toys, blanket across his abdomen and no. He just wants to grab our finger to walk. Idk if I’m expecting too much from him or if it’s normal for him to not do those things at his age.
