When to take ovulation test.

I am not ttc but I have am 15 month postpartum and only on my 3rd cycle. I want to start taking LH test to just know what my new cycle looks like. When do you start taking LH test and what time of day?

If you just want to see what your cycle looks like, BBT might be better if you are getting enough sleep at night. LH can inly predict ovulation, not confirm it and you have to test frequently to catch your peak.

I’d recommend both opks and bbt. You can start testing the day of your first period. Bbt is taken first thing in the morning. Opks twice a day. For me morning and evening work best with my current schedule.
