Ovulation predictor kit question!!!

This is our first month trying to conceive, I bought opk, started testing the last day of my period.... The test was close to being as dark as the control... As the days have gone on the test line seems to be getting lighter... Now on cycle day 11 they seem even lighter....

Will the line get dark as I get close to when I'm "suppose" to ovulate... Or do you think I have already missed my window???
