I just ovulated today on CD21. How many days past ovulation should I test if I don't start my period?

I took a test 1 day after my missed AF but it was a BFN, light blue line. Dr. Said to test nxt week. :(

The app will tell you to test a couple days before your period. For me it says to do it tomorrow, which is 10 days past ovulation.
