Not ovulating!? :/

Hi ladies,
​My husband and I are trying to conceive again after having a miscarriage in November. I'm feeling extra anxious because I was so happy about becoming a mommy and to have it all taken away was heartbreaking. 
​Now we are trying again and glow predicted that I was supposed to ovulate last Wednesday and still nothing. I have been testing everyday at the same time each morning. Has this happened to anyone else? Could I have just not ovulated? Or could it be over a week late? It's all so new to me and any feedback would be MUCH appreciated. Baby dust to you all! :)

I was convinced I wasn't ovulating this month. Last month I got a positive opk on CD17. This month I tested from CD11-23 and nothing so I stopped testing. A couple weeks later, af never showed and I kept getting bfns so I decided to try an opk just out of curiosity. Go figure, cd35 and a positive opk (on 2 different digital tests because I needed confirmation) So apparently I just Od really late this cycle... Like someone else mentioned, were you previously on BC pills? I went off mine in October so I think for me it's just my body still regulating. My advice would be to just keep testing. I know they're expensive but if you can try and keep testing til af shows. Good luck!

Kaitlyn, I wouldn't worry too much about not ovulating yet!! A couple of my friends plus ladies on here never get a positive opk and still get pregnant!! It sometimes takes a while for bc to get out your system too (if you were using it) plus you can miss the LH surge when doing opks :)

I would say wait see if you get an LH serge next cycle or if you appear to miss as well then call your OB. But as a woman TTC waiting is the enemy to our emotions so if you can not wait then call OB and explain. Never hurts to hear reassuring news.

I found it is easier to track my ovulation using the tests that provide 20 test strips. I start testing a couple days after my period starts. I have yet to "miss" seeing an LH serge.  I get my tests from walgreens and I get the off brand in the pink box. Costs $20-25.

​In regards to "missing" an ovulation. Some woman are fertile but don't ovulate every month. There is something that is off in their hormones and they just won't ovulate. They can have normal periods and everything will seem like the are ovulating but nothing happens. Some times it's such an issue that your OB will put you on something like Clomid to help encourage ovulation. Only (possible) down side is its a fertility drug so it increases your likehood of multiple babies.

What day did you start doing the opk's?? According to glow I should of ovulated last wed too but nothing on opk's (apart from very faint lines = negative)!! I only started on cd9 so  guessing I ovulated really early or really late! I'm just going to continue BD'ing every other day to be sure!! GL :)

Hi:  My AM tests are always negative but afternoon are positive.  Maybe try testing at an additional time later in the day? I use ClearBlue Digital OPK, not sure that matters but thought to add that info. Baby dust to you!
