Feel like I'm always waiting!! PCOS and Endo!

So my story.. TTC for over 4 years. But that doesn't matter 3 months, 4 years, 10 years, it's tough for everyone. So had many tests been prodded poked and had Endo removed last year. I waited weeks and weeks for the surgery and then was told to keep trying and if still not pregnant to go back to GP! 8 months later I have now been diagnosed with PCOS and have been referred to hospital to hopefully put on clomid! Please can anyone tell me how long it was before they heard back from the hospital for their first appointment!?? I constantly feel like a sitting duck!!  Also any success stories on clomid! I'm trying to cling onto anything right now.
