Evaporation line?

AF is due Wednesday. Took this test yesterday and no line showed up within a couple minutes. However I looked at it again this morning and now it looks kinda positive. I know it said not to read after 5 minutes (darn curiosity), but I was wondering if anyone has experienced this.. and how to distinguish an evaporation line from a BFP. Is this classic evaporation line?​

same problem here... two tests and lines appeared an hour later... than I tested with different brand second line appeared after 30 mins ?!! what's going on??? same thing happened when I was previously pregnant ... but this time I used cheap tests from the internet so I am confused

@alex- if you are getting faint positives from many tests it could mean that a BFP is on the way. Depends when your AF is due..

Wow congrats!! Did you test today? Lol I don't have any more HPTs and we are having a major storm so I can't go out to buy more lol. Today I was supposed to get AF.

We started trying 3 months ago for our first. Have been together 6.5 years. We got married in November.

I always assumed it would be easy for us because I have never been on birth control and we have been very careful in the past.

Still- I don't want to complain- as I have come to realize that a lot of women have been trying for years and have gone through many treatments, painful experiences and many disappointments - and/or excitement!! Very difficult process when you are ready and it doesn't happen.

Always have to think positive !! :-)

Yeah he basically says that if there is color to the line, there is hcg present. If hcg is present, fertilization had to have occurred. Unless the test you took was some sort of anomaly... According to this guy it was picking up something- even if it was outside the testing window. Evap lines are simply wetness... They look grey or slightly darker than white. This makes sense to me, but I'm not an expert or anything.

​Your last cycle did kind of sound like an early miscarriage. The only time I ever had extremely sore boobs was my first pregnancy (last fall, ended in miscarriage) around 5 or so weeks. They hurt way more than normal pms. Also I was crazy tired.

I can't open the link. But I think I have read that comment. Does it say something around these lines " a pink line faint or not is a positive and there is no such thing as a pink eval line? 
I would love to agree-  why are all my other tests coming out negative?! I only had one test come out with a faint line- the other 2 I took were negative. And I feel AF coming.

Last month I had every pregnancy symptom- my boobs were so sore that I couldn't sleep and the areola was so tingly and sensitive. I never tested but when I got AF - I experienced really , I mean really bad cramps- was ready to go to ER ( that's how bad it was) and I never have painful AF. I think I miscarried- but I never tested so I have no idea what that was. This month- I am back to normal.
