Hcg trigger shot and testing it out??

Hey so I've been reading these chats for quite some time but never posted so here goes. . . 
​We've been trying to concieve for 10 cycles and no luck yet. 
​Did a round of 100mg clomid this cycle and then a 10,000 iu trigger shot. 
​I've read a fair amount on testing out a trigger shot but I tested today at 8 dpt and I'm still getting a really really dark positive. Does this just mean I'm metabolizing the hcg slower than most? Also has anyone had their hpts not go negative In between a shot and bfp? Thanks!!

Tests today are so good that they will pick up even small amounts of HCG. I got my hopes crushed many times this way. Just wait till a minimum of 14 days past the shot. Best of luck!!!!
