Weird Pain. Should I be worried?

So my period just started yesterday and today I have this stabbing pain in my lower right abdomen. Not sure what it is. Could it just be a uti or something more serious?

It doesn't hurt when I pee so far. The pain doesn't seem to move around. It doesn't hurt when I push on it. I don't feel nauseous or have a fever. I notice a slight pinching sensation in the same place before af started but I was hoping it was some kind of pregnancy symptom. I started really feeling the pain the afternoon. It definitely doesn't feel like gas.

Does it burn or look/smell funny when you pee? Does the pain move around? Does it hurt when you push on it? Do you have a fever or nausea? How long has it lasted? Your description could be anything from just gas, all the way to appendicitis, depending on these questions! Hope you feel better soon.
