Clomid

Im due to start clomid in the next month depending on when my cycle starts. Now last month and this month im ovulating naturally. Before this it was not as regular. Maybe once every 3 months. Im currently day 28 and am only just ovulating. Any one else had the same thing. Did the treatment with clomid start as planned?
