Had a solid smiley Friday and today + wondfo. Thoughts??

Question

I got my solid smiley Friday with CBE. I was checking cervix and cm today and it was fertile so just decided to use a cheapie opk I had around. It's for sure positive. I don't chart bbt so I guess I dunno what day is O day. 
​Anyone have any ideas ?

So I guess my question is: is it possible to have the LH surge for 48 hours or more?

​And would you go by the first positive opk for day counting purposes?

Im new to opks but I've heard everyone say you ovulate 12-48 hours after you get a positive!
