Our first topic: “Cervical Mucus – What is going on down there?”

Cervical mucus (CM)--let's say it together, ladies!--is produced by glands in your cervix (who knew you had glands in your cervix?!?).

It's actually normal for you to have CM over the course of your monthly cycle, and it's normal for the consistency or texture of that CM to change over the course of your cycle!

And guess what? If you pay attention to CM, it can even help signal to you when you might be close to ovulating (which is when you'd be at highest risk for getting pregnant).

Cloudy, tacky, white CM=not ovulating;

Clear, slippery (kinda like egg white)=ovulating and fertile 

So now you know. When your cervical mucus looks like this - your chances of getting pregnant increases.
