TTC & weight loss supplement?

I am trying to slim down about 20, to 25 lbs and after months of trying nothing is working. So, therefore, I've considered taking a weight loss supplement. Would this decrease the chance of conceiving? Obviously I would stop taking it if I was pregnant.

I definitely would discourage any use of weight loss supplements. 
​They are addictive, some can make you feel really ill and give you the shakes.
​I have a friend who is addicted to them, so please stay away from them. 
​I lost 10lbs last year using my fitness pal app and spinning and swimming. 
​It's hard work but you can do it x x

I've considered gymnema which is supposed to be made from a plant extract with no caffeine in it....GL!

Have you talked to your doctor? They can do tests for thyroid and other things that can prevent weight loss. There could be a reason you're not losing weight. I wouldn't take weight loss supplements. It seems like every time they come out with a new one, a few years later it is discovered that they are terrible for you.

Bad idea. You have no idea what they put in that stuff. I think it's great to get healthy for your baby. I want to do that too! But not sure supplements are the way to go when you are TTC.
