breastfeeding and for how long ?

How many mommy to be will be breastfeeding their new born? How months will you be breastfeeding?

I breastfed my son for 6 weeks, he was my first and with my daughter I breastfed her for 16 months. I'm going to go for that long with this one as well or whenever baby weans him or herself :)

I just weaned my Daughter on Saturday and she is two. Will be breastfeeding baby#2 for that long aswell

I fed my first till 17 months(I was 20 weeks preg when he stopped) I'm still currently feeding my 2nd at 18months( and am 12 weeks preg)  so will deffo be feeding baby too :)

I breastfed my first 3 all for 21 months! My first and third oddly enough weaned themselves at the same time frame-21 months. And I weaned my 2nd because I was 6 months prego with my 3rd and did not want to be tandem nursing. I am now prego with my 4th and hope to nurse my angel just as long as my first 3!

I am hoping to with my first and will go as long as I can, but plan to wean at one year.

I couldent breast feed my daughter do to some of the medications I was on. And with my son I tried to breast feed him, but I didn't produce enough milk. So the pain was not worth it!! But my boobs have already grown, I have white specks, and leakage! And they hurt like crazy! And I'm no longer on any meds, so I'm really hoping I can this time!!! :)
