Brown spitting after pap

Hi ladies! I went in for my first ob appt last Thursday 3/13 during this appt the dr did a Pap smear and told me that I may see some spotting that night to not be alarmed. I am currently 5w 4d and now experiencing brown spotting. I do know that brown spotting/discharge isn't generally a problem but do you guys think it could be from the Pap smear 4 days ago? Seems like it took awhile!
