Anyone tried the sperm meets egg plan?

I'm feeling a bit deflated as nothing's happening very quickly with baby #2, we conceived first try with #1. Has anyone tried this method and would they recommend it or anything else?? Baby dust ladies xxx

Thanks for all the suggestions, I want to try and avoid being super planned but I think most of the time it does go that way when trying! Having this month off to try and avoid Xmas baby so I want to get myself clued up! Xx

I sorta did this minus the opk kit. every other day then 3 straight days leading up to O and 2 days after (I got ovulation cramps so I knew I o'ed) currently in tww and 6-7dpo. have had some symptoms but trying not to overthink it. we did it every morning (read somewhere it's optimal first thing in the morning) and hubby was up for it so I lucked out.

My DH hates the thought of planned sex and telling him I'm ovulating stresses him out so I just try and set the mood while I'm ovulating.

I tried it this past month. I'm in my tww now. I will let you know if it works. It's a lot of BDing and it took a lot of the fun out of it because it was so scheduled.

I know there's a few ladies on this board that have tried it and I've heard it's very successful for some :) 
​Anything is worth a shot ! 
​I just don't like the "planning of sex" idea of it ,if I was to do this plan I wouldn't tell DH and would just hope for the best that he was up for it too!
