BBT thermometer???

So I just got a BBT thermoeter today. And it said to not take my temperature on AF days. Is this true?

I don't take temps on AF days - I start charting about cd 8 or 9 and if I feel I'm coming obsessed with it after 5 DPO I stop too as I find I don't sleep as I worry about missing my time slot to take temp - ridiculous I know but a reality!

​Depends what you are charting for - if just to determine O, you don't need to chart all month. You need enough days pre and post O window to get a trend

I test every day no matter what. Just a tip have it by your bed and soon as you wake up test. Dont lay there waiting to be more awake. Even slight movement and stretches can raise temp slightly.

I never heard that but I guess unless you have a really short cycle you wouldn't really need to during af. I always do just to make it more of a routine for me.
