Does 17 / 18 Seem Too Young To Have A Baby? I Have A lot Of Experience With Babies, And I Want One, Just Nervous/Scared. I Was Just Wondering If You Guys Think I Should Wait, Or Go For It

I think you should wait. I had my son when I was 21 and I still felt like that was too young. A lot happens when you have a baby and lot changes. Thank God my sons father and I are together and married but that doesn't always make things easy. Be 18/19 and have fun go to college go out with friends, travel, meet new people. With that being said at the end of the day follow your heart and do what is right for you!! :)

It depends. Can it be done? Absolutely but you will miss out on so much that you can only do once. I had my children at 26 and I felt I could've waited a bit longer. I know several people who were teen moms, planned & unplanned, each and everyone said they wish they would have waited. Good luck, I'm sure you'll make the right decision. :)

I had my son at 18. Wasn't planned but thankfully me and his daddy were very much in love and were already planning a marriage, we already lived together so that was a big help as we'll . Were 19 now and trying for baby number two . But unless you're fully ready to commit to raising a child I wouldn't suggest having a baby at your age . Your whole life will change Nothing and I mean nothing will be the same . I would wait until you're married and stable before bringing a little one into the world :)

i had one at 23 and i think thats to young, i would hold off, having even one child is the biggest responsibility u will ever have, not that its not worth it but, u have so much time to live,love and grow into the person u will become, which will be totally differnt in 5 or 10 yrs. most important find that one person you want to spend the rest of ur life with, ur child(ren) will be so much happier and better off in a 2 parent household and wen u are truely happy, goodluck!

Enjoy you life. Once you have a baby - you live for someone else. It's beautiful - but it's a huge sacrifice.

I think it is really a matter of priorities. If all you ever wanted was to be a mom, then waiting really just delays the dream. Whereas, if there are other things you want to do, like backpack across Europe, that might be harder/not possible/etc with children, I would consider waiting. There is so much of life that can be exponentially more complicated and difficult when a child needs to be considered. A lot of people really enjoy the freedom to be selfish during their young adult years (I know I did.) Being a "grown up" is really hard and stressful. While beig a mommy is my dream, I would not give up the time I got to grow into my own as a young adult for anything!
